WHAT’S INSIDE THE 2026 UK HANSON BOX?

The resources within the 2026 Hanson Box were designed to cover a wide range of subjects in  the national curriculum, including history, biology, geography and geology. The box includes a  cover letter, an interactive creative drawing competition and a flyer about the exciting children’s  parliament project which your students can be part of!  

 

Each box contains:

  1. a book titled Nature’s Tricks – How Animals and Plants use Disguises and Deception which explores the astonishing ways which animals and plants use colour to hide  from predators, trick prey and keep young safe.
  2. a book titled Amazing Ecosystems which explores the world’s main biomes and  profiles key species along with concise text and conservation status icons.
  3. a book titled Our Marine World which explores many of the world’s main marine  ecosystems and their occupant animals and plants.
  4. a book titles Amazing Archaeology which explores many of the world’s most  fascinating and spectacular historical to shed light on the mysteries of the past.

SENDING THE 2026 HANSON BOX

After a full year of development and planning, the 5,000 were shipped to schools across the  UK.  

Each box weights approx. 5 kg, so in total, around 25 tonnes (25,000 kg!) of educational  resources were sent! 

The Don Hanson Charitable Foundation team really hopes that students and educators will  enjoy the resources in the 2026 Hanson Box.
